Providng Consultation and Guidance to Support Your Success at Work and Home
What is an EAP?
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a voluntary and
completely confidential service provided to employees and their eligible family members
to help meet the challenges of life. EAP is a valuable resource that can help identify and resolve many workplace, family, social, economic and mental health concerns. EAP can improve the work environment and the well-being of employees and families.
The Career College’s Employee Assistance Program, is a confidential, employer funded and external professional service supporting employees and their families to overcome personal and professional challenges in a safe and trustworthy environment. It enables employees to seek out support early, assisting them to identify and resolve workplace, family, social and economic concerns as they arise with a view to minimising impact on the person’s health, work performance and productivity.
WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT
YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
Accessing EAP
EAP services are available wherever you are in the world and are simple to access.
There is no referral required. Appointments are available within and outside of business hours.
You simply call Employee Assistance Program directly, schedule an appointment and meet with one of the professionals’ face to face, via telephone or virtually.
You do not need to seek approval prior to accessing EAP service. There is no obligation to tell your Supervisor, Manager or Human Resource professional that you are using this service. However, if you are attending a session during your working hours you will need to inform them that you will be absent from
the office.
Your Manager may also refer you to EAP. If your Manager recommends you contact EAP the decision on whether you attend a session is entirely up to you.
OUR EAP SERVICES SUPPORT EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FAMILIES ACROSS THE GLOBE
How the EAP Assists Employees
Most of us do our best with the support of our family, friends or community leaders. However, speaking to a trained supportive professional about a private concern is very common today. EAP is delivered by professionals who are trained to assess and help us resolve a variety of personal and workplace concerns. When additional services are needed, they guide us to appropriate resources.
